The Rafferty marks a bold new chapter in downtown Santa Ana’s evolution. Developed by Toll Brothers, the project introduces design-driven, community-oriented living that honors the area’s cultural and historical roots. Its architecture is sophisticated yet gritty—and draws from local context with care, using brick and dark metal to reflect historic textures while maintaining a modern edge. The preserved Orange County Title Company facade, once the region’s first, is now restored and celebrated as the lobby centerpiece. A landscaped plaza anchors the corner, while local-inspired murals and vibrant interiors pay homage to Santa Ana’s rich cultural identity. More than housing, The Rafferty is a thoughtful contribution to the city’s architectural and cultural narrative blending history, community, and contemporary design into one cohesive experience.
