Under the general direction of the Director of Finance and Operations, the Director of Marketing is primarily responsible for business development strategy, marketing, branding, communications, and public relations infrastructure, in addition to positioning the firm for growth and profitability. This position establishes marketing programs, policies, and procedures and is empowered to make commitments on behalf of the firm.

Role:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance brand visibility and drive growth in alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee brand consistency across all channels, ensuring all marketing materials reflect the company’s vision, values, and aesthetics.
  • Drive targeted campaigns to attract new clients, nurture leads, and increase client retention.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content strategy to boost online presence and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality content such as case studies, project showcases, and thought leadership pieces for blogs, press, releases, and other channels.
  • Develop targeted campaigns and collateral to showcase the company’s portfolio, emphasizing key projects and achievements.
  • Organize and execute company-sponsored events, conferences, or exhibitions to increase visibility and general leads.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to guide marketing decisions and adapt strategies.
  • Establish and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Work closely with MVE leadership, sales, and design teams to align marketing strategies with business goals and ensure messaging consistency.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using insights to refine and optimize strategies.
  • Represents the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates.
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of all sales and marketing data; selectively shares relevant information with only strategic partners and vendors as needed.

You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience and long-range planning required.
  • Hands-on Experience with SEO, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, etc.), Digital Ads, Website Management, and copywriting.
  • Experience working within the AEC Industry required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of market developments, strategies, and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency using InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Proficiency with layouts and graphics.
  • Experience using CRM systems (i.e., HubSpot, Deltek Vision, etc.)
